Why is my heater blowing cold air instead of warm?

Heaters blow cold air when the thermostat is on FAN/ON or COOL, the filter is clogged, the pilot or igniter fails, or a heat pump is defrosting. We service all brands in Novato and Vacaville. Annual maintenance can prevent up to 70% of heating repairs. A technician will confirm the cause on site.

  • Set thermostat to HEAT; fan to AUTO.
  • Replace or clean the air filter.
  • Check breakers and gas supply.
  • Note any error lights for the tech.
